A Slideshow of Favorite Memories
Picture
I take tremendous pride in being a community leader. I have been especially blessed to be a blessing to the youth of my community. As a Girl Scout Troop Leader, my troop was one of only seven in New York chosen to compete in National Cookie Day. The opportunity of being a troop leader helped me empower young girls. As a Pageant Queen, I was invested in building youth through my platform; making more platform-related appearances than any Queen in my system. As a Pageant Director, I empowered women and my Queens either won or placed every year at Nationals. I have also been a Young Life leader, a camp counselor and a student leader at my school, among other places. I love leading because I love bringing out the best in those I serve.

EMPOWERING YOUTH

I am called to work with youth and to teach them what they are great at. I excel at helping them develop that greatness.

SUPPORTING POLITICIANS

I proudly support the elected officials who support us. I love working with them on initiatives and even hosting their events.

LEADING AND DIRECTING

As a pageant queen turned director, I supported women in the tri-state area in greater community service and outreach.

GLU (Girls Leading Up)

One of the things I do as a community leader is hosting events. Councilwoman Farah Louis conceptualized this awesome event to help cultivate our young women which she named "Girls leading Up Empowerment Day" or GLUED, for short. Hundreds of young women gathered at Brooklyn Borough Hall to receive a message, and they left feeling truly inspired. I enjoy making hosting fun!
