A Slideshow of Favorite Memories
|
Being a classically-trained fine artist is at the core of how I self- identify. In the 3rd or 4th grade, I started at a program that Pratt Institute had for children, and never looked back. I chose my middle school because of their phenomenal art program, went to LaGuardia High School to study art and then landed at Fashion Institute of Technology to study fashion design more comprehensively. My training has given me the ability to freehand sketch, paint in various mediums, sculpt in marble, work with ceramic, design, illustrate, do printmaking and create mixed-media pieces, which are my favorite. I am gearing up for the launch of my online art store in Q2 of 2022.

DESIGN/ILLUSTRATION
I have adored illustrating since I was a young girl. I also love designing. Fashion and graphic design top my list of favorites.

FINE ARTS
Fine arts is where my journey began and still sets my standard for how I view visual expression. I am constantly working to improve.

COMMISSIONS
Some of the most meaningful work I have done as an artist was in direct service to others, such as logos, t-shirts and other projects.

WATCH ME DRAW
When I was still a young artist, one of my favorite things to do was to hover over the shoulder of my artistic friends as they drew. I am still fascinated by watching artists create and learning more about their studio practice. For those of you who share that curiosity, or just wish to see how it all comes together, here is an illustration I made for a greeting card commission with L.A. Ribbon. It's quick, but I hope that you enjoy it and that it inspires you to create also.
